These specialized services result in significant cost-effective savings to airlines, operators and leasing organizations, and are structured as follows:
Work Scope Preparation - To eliminate unnecessary work, Int’l Flight Management’s specialists coordinate with our customers power plant engineering staff to determine what tasks should be accomplished during an engine restoration shop visit. This is extremely critical and necessary in order to meet the intended use of the engine and to ensure cost effective savings.
Parts Supplying - The owner/operator purchases the engine parts requiring replacement directly from Int’l Flight Management at far less cost compared with 145 Repair Stations industry standard pricing. This is the cornerstone of Int’l Flight Management program which result in significant cost-effective savings which are passed on to our customers.
On-Site Supervision & Control - Int’l Flight Management provides continuous supervision and control of the work performed by the repair facility on customer engines. Our specialists closely monitor all repair processes ensuring that the requested work is properly executed and that no unnecessary work is undertaken (i.e., that a part is not scrapped when a new repair is available, that an expensive repair is not done when it is less expensive to replace the part).
Following the repair of each engine, Int’l Flight Management scrutinizes the invoice submitted by the 145 Repair Station to ensure that it conforms precisely to the work accomplished and invoices are carefully checked for accuracy before being submitted to customers. Since Int’l Flight Management supplies all major parts requiring replacement, there is no charges for our professional services during the engine refurbishment process.
As a service to our customers, Int’l Flight Management’s logistic team will assist in properly making arrangements for shipment of engines to and from the appropriate repair facility.
